Our Story

From Amami Oshima to the World.

Our journey begins on Amami Oshima—an island of lush forests, crystal-clear waters, and timeless traditions.

This is where my mother was born and raised.

And it is where my personal connection to this island first took root.

Over the years, I found myself asking a simple question:

How can I give back to the place that shaped my family’s story?

Amami Oshima is more than a beautiful destination.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, it is home to a unique ecosystem and a culture deeply connected to nature.

But beyond its landscapes, there are traditions—

craftsmanship passed down through generations,

and local industries such as kokuto (brown sugar) production and shochu distillation that reflect the spirit of the island.

Today, many of these traditions face an uncertain future.

That is why we exist.

Our mission is to preserve and share the cultural heritage of Amami Oshima—

not as something of the past, but as something alive, evolving, and meaningful for the future.

Through carefully selected, artisanal products, we aim to connect people around the world to the island’s natural beauty, craftsmanship, and stories.

Each piece we offer carries more than quality.

It carries history, identity, and a deep respect for the land and the people who shape it.

This is not just about products.

It is about preserving a culture, supporting a community, and creating a bridge between Amami Oshima and the world.

We invite you to be part of that story.
