"Beni Sango" – Aged Kokuto Shochu with Amber Elegance

Beni Sango, meaning “Red Coral,” is a kokuto shochu that glows with a captivating amber hue. Crafted from koji-rich base spirits rooted in Japanese fermentation culture, it is slowly aged in white oak barrels without any additives. Over time, the barrel imparts sweet and toasty notes, creating a mellow yet exotic flavor profile.

The pristine spring water from Mt. Yuwan, Amami’s sacred peak, is used in the brewing process, and the result is a refined, pure spirit shaped by nature and time.

Best enjoyed straight or on the rocks to fully savor its rich aroma and smooth character.

🍶 Discover Kokuto Shochu — A Rare Spirit from Japan’s Amami Islands

From the lush Amami Islands in southern Japan comes Kokuto Shochu, a traditional spirit made from brown sugar and rice malt.
Unlike rum, it uses a special Japanese distillation method and is only allowed to be produced in Amami, making it truly unique.

Kokuto Shochu has deep roots in island culture, dating back to the Ryukyu Kingdom. It carries the flavors of nature, history, and craftsmanship—smooth, slightly sweet, and rich in character.

Whether sipped neat or mixed in a cocktail, this rare spirit offers a taste of tradition you can’t find anywhere else.

Experience the spirit of Amami.
